An early 19th century and later statuary marble chimney-piece of elegant proportions, designed by John Nash. The jambs are surmounted by boldly carved acanthus leaf paterae and the jamb and frieze panels are in the form of sunken moulded panels. Ex of 38 Hannover Terrace, London.

This elegant Chimney-piece came from a house designed by John Nash in Regent’s Park. It had been removed in the 1950s and been in storage since.
