A mid to late 18th Century Bardiglio and Statuary marble Chimney-piece, attributable to the workshop of John Francis Moore.

Our involvement with this project was the reconstruction of the jambs which had been fundamentally altered in height. This is an extraordinary Chimney-piece somewhat characteristic of Moore's workshop. The architectural structure of the Palladian form has been softened by the application of exquisitely carved swags and drops of flowers. Courtesy of James Graham Stewart
